Kampala, (UG):- The Minister of State for ICT and National Guidance, Hon. Baluku Godfrey Kabbyanga has successfully completed his Master’s Degree in Economic Policy and Planning at Makerere University.
The minister graduated at the ongoing 75th graduation ceremony at Makerere, which has seen thousands of students passed out from different disciplines.
In a post via X (formerly Twitter), Kabbyanga could hide his excitement and achievement after completing his Master’s study at the prestigious program at Uganda’s oldest and most renowned university.
“I’m happy to share that I’ve completed my Master’s Degree from the prestigious Makerere University,” Kabbyanga posted. He acknowledged the critical support he received from his family, mentors, and colleagues throughout his academic pursuit.
He notably mentioned Prof. Ibrahim Okumu, a prominent academic at Makerere University, and Dr. Peter Babyenda, an expert in the field of economics, who are said to have provided valuable guidance and mentorship to Kabyanga during his studies.
“This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my loved ones, Prof. Ibrahim Okumu and Dr Peter Babyenda. I congratulate other graduands who have graduated and still graduating at Makerere University,” Kabbyanga shared.
Minister Kabbyanga’s academic journey reflects a strong commitment to personal development, as well as to the broader goals of economic policy and planning in Uganda.
