Kampala, (UG):- The Uganda National Examinations Board UNEB on Friday, March 14, released the results for the 2024 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) exams, highlighting key trends in performance, subject proficiency, and student participation.

Speaking at the release of the results at State House Nakasero, UNEB Executive Director Dan Odongo reported that female candidates performed better than their male counterparts in humanities, physics, and the general paper.

This, he said, continues a trend observed in previous years, although the number of female students pursuing sciences and mathematics remains lower than that of males.

“Female entries for sciences and mathematics have remained lower than those of males, but we are seeing an encouraging rise in participation,” Odongo noted.
