Mbale, Uganda: Uganda Cranes and Golden Arrows goalkeeper, Ismail Watenga, through his Ismail Watenga Foundation, is calling on the general public to join his “Leave a Footprint” Upcoming Charity Drive.

Watenga will himself lead a charity drive on June 14, 2025, which will be held under the theme “Inspiring Change, Impacting Lives.”

The Foundation this year is mobilizing support for key needs in form of sewing machines, medical kits, reusable pads for girls, and soccer kits to empower communities and uplift vulnerable groups in Mbale.

The campaign, which is now in its third year, continues to grow in impact since its launch. The second edition took place last year, building on the success of the first edition held two years ago.

Ismail Watenga Foundation mainly focuses on inspiring change and impacting lives, the outreach seeks donations to support vulnerable communities.
