Kampala, Uganda: The Senior Presidential Advisor and Head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, has urged the newly wed Dr. Ziiwa and his bride Miss Haula Kasai, to place Allah at the center of their union and remain anchored in Islamic teachings.

“Let Allah be the foundation of your marriage,” she said. “Pray together, grow together, and let His guidance lead you through every season.”

Hajjat Namyalo was Saturday spekaing at the couple’s vibrant introduction and Nika ceremony held at the Bugolobi residence of the bride’s father, prominent businessman Hajji Abdul Kasai.

She further called for patience, mutual respect, and adherence to Islamic values, reminding the newlyweds that challenges are part of Allah’s plan to strengthen their bond.

To the guests, especially the youth, Hajjat Namyalo appealed for moral uprightness and daily application of Islamic discipline.

“As we celebrate love and unity today, let us reflect on how we live. Islamic discipline is not for ceremonies alone but must guide how we treat each other, build families, and serve our communities,” she said.

Also in attendance was the Minister for Kampala and Metropolitan Affairs, Hajjat Minsa Kabanda, who emphasized the role of faith in family stability. “A marriage rooted in Islamic principles lays the foundation for a peaceful and progressive community,” she said.

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director, Hajjat Sharif Buzeki, who also graced the occasion, hailed the function as a reflection of the rich Islamic heritage and a model of dignity in matrimonial celebrations.

“This union reflects the true essence of Islamic culture and tradition. As KCCA, we support family-centered events that strengthen the moral fabric of our city,” she said.

The bride’s father, Hajji Abdul Kasai, praised his daughter’s character and thanked guests, especially Kampala’s top businessmen, for turning up in large numbers to bless the union.

“Haula has always been disciplined, respectful, and God-fearing. As I give her hand in marriage, I am confident she will uphold the principles we instilled in her and bring honor to her new family,” he remarked.
