Other notable speakers include Prof. Luis Franceschi, the Assistant Secretary General of the Commonwealth, who will deliver remarks on how Commonwealth frameworks can drive equitable trade and governance partnerships.

A delegation of senior Ugandan officials is confirmed to attend the summit:

  • Gen. David Muhoozi, Minister of State for Internal Affairs
  • Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, Deputy Speaker of Parliament
  • Hon. Ruth Nankabirwa, Minister of Energy and Mineral Development

Willy Mutenza, Founder and Chairman of the Summit, described Dr. Sudhir’s participation as a major boost to the event. “With Dr. Ruparelia’s leadership and the participation of Uganda’s top officials, this summit will strengthen UK-Africa economic ties and unlock new opportunities for collaboration,” Mutenza noted.

The forum will cover a wide range of topics, including infrastructure, renewable energy, mining, finance, and regional logistics. Organisers expect the summit to generate strategic business deals and open new investment channels between Africa and Europe.

Uganda’s stable investment environment, energy surplus, and supportive trade policies position it as a strategic gateway for UK investors interested in oil, gas, agro-industrialisation, and emerging sectors.

With Dr. Ruparelia at the forefront, the UK-Africa Business Summit is anticipated to be a pivotal platform for forging partnerships that will drive Africa’s economic transformation.
