Kampala Parents School registers clean sweep of top grades in 2025 PLE

Kampala Parents School has posted a 100 per cent First and Second Grade pass rate in the 2025 PLE, recording 96 First Grades and reinforcing its status among Kampala’s top primary schools.

Kampala, Uganda: Kampala Parents School (KPS) yet again delivered another outstanding performance in the 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), with all candidates scoring either First or Second Grade, cementing its place among Kampala’s most consistent academic institutions.

According to the results released, KPS registered 96 First Grades and 89 Second Grades, achieving a flawless pass rate within the two highest divisions. The outcome places the school prominently among the city’s leading primary schools, and within the competitive bracket it traditionally benchmarks against.

These include Kabojja Junior School, City Parents School, Greenhill Academy (Kibuli and Buwaate), Hormisdalen (Kalerwe and Kyebando), Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Old Kampala, and Kampala Academy.

Education observers attribute KPS’s performance to structured academic systems, continuous learner assessment, and a firm culture of discipline maintained throughout the primary cycle.

The school’s approach emphasises early syllabus coverage, targeted revision programmes, and close collaboration between teachers and parents to ensure learners are fully prepared for national examinations.

With 96 First Grades, KPS candidates are competitively positioned for admission into Uganda’s top secondary schools, where PLE outcomes remain a critical selection criterion. Alongside examination success, the school maintains a strong focus on holistic preparation to support a smooth transition into secondary education.
