COVID-19 UPDATE: Legendary Music Rapper and Recording Artiste Ernest Nsimbi porpulary known as GNL Zamba is positive for Covid-19, The Daily Express can confirm.
The US based musician shared the news on his Facebook page urging his music fans to stay safe and observe SOPs.
“I’m Covid 19 Positive. This is a scary way to celebrate New Year’s! I spent the whole holiday week sick with body aches, went for a test yesterday only to receive results from a call while at a restaurant.” Zamba stated in a facebook post.
He added;- “what surprised me was how jolly the lab technician was to give me the news.”
The news of Zamba testing positive for Covid-19 comes at a time when the Ministry of Health confirmed 539 new coronavirus cases as of 30th Dec 2020 bringing the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases to 35,216.
251 people have been confirmed dead from the virus, while number of recovered patients stand at 11,733 by press time.
