DailyExpress understands that the police in the area and the rescue team have already embarked on the process of retrieving the bodies of the trio as investigating officers take charge of the incident.

This is not the first time a person has drowned in the Busabala waters, which now pose a danger to human lives.

For example, in August last year, a nine-year-old pupil of Busabala Primary School in Wakiso district drowned in the lake after he had gone swimming with his six-year-old sister who survived.
