FUFA Drum 2023/24: Lango, Busoga provinces to clash in final at Lugogo

Kampala, (UG):- As the fourth edition of the FUFA Drum 2023/2024 nears its climax, football enthusiasts across Uganda eagerly await the showdown between Lango and Busoga Provinces at the prestigious MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo. 

With preparations in full swing, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) and its esteemed sponsors, including MTN Uganda, Nile Special, Rock Boom, and betPawa, have unveiled comprehensive plans to ensure a memorable final on the 23rd of March, 2024.

A total of six thousand tickets will be made available for the final, with meticulous distribution ensuring equitable access for fans of both competing provinces. 

Notably, three thousand tickets per province will be allocated for bulk purchase at UGX 20,000/= each, while an additional three thousand tickets will be sold via Momo Pay at UGX 25,000/= each. 

The sale is set to commence on Monday, the 18th of March, offering supporters ample opportunity to secure their seats for the thrilling encounter.

MTN Uganda, the primary sponsor of the event, reaffirms its unwavering commitment to Ugandan football by facilitating ticket purchases through its user-friendly Momo app and USSD channel *165*98#. Moreover, to accommodate fans unable to attend the match at Lugogo, MTN will set up viewer parks in Iganga and Lira, complete with large screens to ensure an immersive viewing experience for all.

In addition to the electrifying atmosphere promised at the stadium, Nile Special pledges to enhance the event with refreshing beverages while establishing promotional stations representative of the competing regions. 

Similarly, betPawa Uganda underscores its dedication to nurturing local talent by offering substantial winning bonuses and locker room support for the teams, further amplifying the stakes of the final showdown.

Harris International, the driving force behind Rock Boom, joins forces with fellow sponsors to extend their support to the communities through viewer parks in Iganga and Lira, fostering camaraderie and collective celebration among fans.

With kick-off scheduled for Saturday at 4 PM, spectators can anticipate a fiercely contested match, with the prospect of extra time should the teams remain deadlocked after regular play.
