“We have gone ahead to sensitize the alumni to make them aware of this great event and to celebrate their success together with the community and we the staff of the institute because from the year 1983 to 2023 there was no graduation and there are so many graduands who have passed through this institute and are holding high profile jobs,” said Okoda.

Ora Technical Institute was founded by the Roman Catholic in 1983 and now the government-funded institution today has a paltry enrollment of 210 trainees with only 32 females and a very insignificant number of the indigenous of Zombo district across the different faculties of skills development hence the need for mindset change about values of technical and vocational education.
