Oyam, (UG):- Muslims have been urged to always endure upholding Islamic holy practices as it is the only way that will make God continue protecting them from temptation.

In his Eid al Fitr message to the Muslim faithful during Eid prayers at Apala Main Mosque in Aber Sub County, Sheikh Saban Sanyu the Apac District Kadhi observed that Muslims demonstrated good behaviors during the Holy month of Ramadhan which should be carried forward even after Eid Al Fitr.

Sanyu also advised the Youths to stop wasting time in non-profitable ventures like sports betting and other gambling activities.

“Share your love with neighbours. Leave the sinful acts and focus on things that mend your relationship with Allah. It’s not a time to do disco dancing and sins but to do good things,” Sheikh Sanyu said.

Suleiman Opio, the imam of Apala Main Mosque encourage fellow Muslims to love one another, shun domestic violence and promote peace in their communities.

“This Eid Al Fitr teaches us to change from evil practices that separate us from Allah and work towards building peace in our community, that way we would celebrate Eid Al Fitr with a lot of sense,” said Opio.
