Kamuli, (UG):- Police in Kamuli District are investigating a case of attempted murder on the district’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr Kifuse Alex a resident of Muwebwa ward, Bunangwe Zone, Northern division, Kamuli municipality.
Kasadha Michael the Busoga north police spokesperson has confirmed the incident and said that upon Kifuuse entering his home in Bunangwe Zone, the unknown assailants attacked him and cut him on his head and neck
It is also alleged that last week on Thursday Kifuuse was warned that there were people who wanted to claim his life though he did not report it to the police
Now Kifuuse Alex is nursing wounds in Jinja Regional Referral Hospital where he was referred to from Kamuli Main Hospital
Mr Kasadha Michael also asked anyone with information about the murder to report to the police as they continue with the investigations
