Buyende, (UG):- Patients most especially expectant mothers and Health workers in Kidera Health Centre IV are full of happiness after receiving two delivery beds from the Rt Hon Rebecca Kadaga which she promised during her visit to Buyende District.
The first deputy prime minister and minister for East Africa fulfilled her promises to Kidera H/C IV through Hon Nakato Mary Annet the woman Member of parliament Buyende district and Sharifu Mangalene the aspirant LCV chairperson Buyende district who handed over the Beds to the Health workers of Kidera Health centre IV.
Hon Nakato thanked Kadaga for fulfilling her promise however she asked the government through the Ministry of Health to build a martinet Ward and pediatric ward at the facility.
“We don’t have a maternity ward and pediatric ward so we ask the government through the Ministry of Health to build them at our facility,” Nakato said before asking the expectant mothers to always go for antenatal.
Sharif Mangalene the aspirant LCV chairperson of Buyende District thanked Kadaga and asked the beneficiaries to put these beds to good use.
“I would like to thank Kadaga for promoting good health in the Busoga region however I argue the beneficiaries not to waste these beds”; he said.
