Kampala Standard PS Kyanja shines again in 2024 PLE results

Kampala, (UG):- For the third consecutive year running, Kampala Standard Nursery and Primary School-Kyanja has continued to excel in the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), cementing its position among the top schools in the country.

Out of 30 candidates that sat PLE in 2024, 26 achieved Division 1 results, while 4 secured Division 2, showcasing an impressive performance that adds to the school’s growing reputation for academic excellence.

According to the Headteacher, Mr Simon Mugaaju, the school’s success is attributed to its balanced curriculum that integrates academics with co-curricular activities.

“We emphasize programs like farming, the Young Engineers initiative, and other projects that nurture holistic development, enabling our pupils to excel both academically and beyond,” he explained.

What makes Kampala Standard School the best?

It is worth noting that last year (2024), Kampala Standard Nursery and Primary School-Kyanja was ranked the 3rd best school in Kampala, with then KCCA Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka recognising the school’s achievements with a prestigious medal.

To ensure a holistic education is offered to its learners, Kampala Standard Nursery and Primary School-Kyanja boasts of a fleet of school vans that transports pupils to and fro, on a daily.

These vans cover routes including Kyanja Metro, Gayaza Metro, Ntinda, Kisaasi, Kawempe, Kiira, and other surrounding areas, making transportation seamless for families.
