Jose Chameleone confirmed for Uganda-Rwanda Festival in Kampala

Kampala, Uganda: Ugandan music legend Jose Chameleone has confirmed his participation in the much-anticipated Uganda-Rwanda Music Festival, slated for July 26, 2025, at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Organized by KEP Promotions Ltd, the cross-border music extravaganza aims to celebrate unity, culture, and the shared heritage between Uganda and Rwanda through electrifying performances, cultural exhibitions, and Pan-African artistry.

In a video clip circulating online, Chameleone rallied fans from both countries to turn up in large numbers. “Music is a powerful tool for unity. I’m excited to be part of a festival that brings together Ugandans and Rwandans in the spirit of brotherhood,” he said.

The festival is expected to feature a star-studded lineup of artists from both nations, traditional music showcases, vibrant fashion, and food stalls serving local delicacies from Uganda and Rwanda.

Organizers say the event will carry a strong Pan-African theme, with colorful patterns and heritage symbolism setting the tone.

Chameleone, fresh off a thrilling performance at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, is expected to be one of the headline acts drawing regional attention.
