According to sources with the club that disclosed to Daily Express, Coach Bainomugisha had left the Caterpillars in February this year on account of accumulated salary arrears and the statement was only to make it official.

Since then, he was demanding arrears of about seven months, and he chose to stay back in Kampala after the club unveiled AbaBet and MTN Uganda as sponsors.

The former Kigezi Homeboyz, Mbarara City and Lweza FC coach joined the Caterpillars in July last year.

Vialli won two (MYDA and Kitara) of the five games, collecting eight points (including the draw against Express and Wakiso Giants) and lost once against KCCA 8-0.
