Josephine Karungi joins World Bank after leaving NTV

Since October 2018, Karungi has been serving as the Head of News at NTV Uganda. Before then, she had spent over 15 years the station.

KAMPALA – Former NTV news anchor, Josephine Karungi has reportedly joined World Bank just days after calling it quits at NTV Uganda. Karungi will reportedly work as a consultant at World bank in her new at the institution

Kaurngi who has been the Head of News department and News Anchor at Serena-based TV station, tendered in her resignation on Monday 29th March after allegedly scooping a mega offer from the World Bank.

Reports further suggests that she was hired to work hand in hand and assist Keziah Muthembwa who replaced Sheila Kulubya as the World Bank Communication’s officer in Uganda.
