Eight more companies join VU, Premier Recruitment to sponsor Jinja “Sexy Speed” Rally

Victoria University is giving 60% bursary to students who will be assessed during the rally championship

KAMPALA, UGANDA: The Motor Sports Africa Club (MOSAC) has unveiled eight more companies including MOVIT and Lato Milk who have now joined as co-sponsors of this year’s Seventh (7th) Edition of the Federation of Motorsport Rally Championship, dubbed ‘Sexy Speed Rally’.

These were unveiled on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at a function held at the Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) headquarters in Lugogo, Kampala.
The new eight co-sponsors now join Victoria University and Premier Recruitment who were unveiled last Friday as the  MAIN SPONSORS as MOSAC officially launched the Sexy Speed Rally championship.

The other two companies unveiled today alongside Movit and Lato Milk were; Marine Time Company Limited, and Fire and Safety Appliances Limited.

The remaining four new co-sponsors of the Sexy Speed Rally according to the organizers will be unveiled tomorrow (Wednesday, November 17, 2021) in Jinja where another function to sensitize the rally fans and drivers on safety will be held.

MOSAC in a press statement released applauded the new companies especially Movit and Lato for choosing to come on board to support the rally as co-sponsors which boosts the motor sporting activity in the country.

“Today’s launch brings on board Movit Products Limited, which has for the last 20 years, proudly stood for beauty, innovation, confidence, optimism, and, above all, for women. Their activities since inception have revolved around manufacturing and distributing quality body, hair care, and baby care products,” reads in part the press release.

The Sexy Speed Rally is scheduled to take place on November 26th and 27th in Jinja City.

The Ministry of Health will join the Rally as Partners of the Federation of Motorsport Rally Championship and Mosac; to conduct free COVID-19 vaccinations.

The Rally and all its related pre-event activities are also being held, under strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures, as set by the Ministry of Health.

As a way of giving back to the people, Victoria University will offer bursaries (with a 60% tuition deduction) to students who will be assessed, a week to the rally. Also, Premier Recruitment, Uganda’s leading labor recruitment agency said whoever registers with Premier Recruitment to travel and work abroad, between November 21st to 26th, will be helped to secure a Passport at no cost.
