Maritza Quits KFM, Joins Nxt Radio

Maritza, who has been co-hosting the D’Mighty Breakfast Show on KFM alongside Brian Mulondo confirmed the development saying she chose to move on to a new chapter after three years at KFM

The latest info reaching our entertainment confirm that Radio personality Martha Byoga popularly known as Maritza has parted ways with Nation Media Group’s 93.3 KFM to join Next Media’s NXT Radio.

Maritza, who has been co-hosting the D’Mighty Breakfast Show on KFM alongside Brian Mulondo confirmed the development through her socials saying she has chosen to move on to a new chapter after three years at the Namuwongo based station.

“Hey beautiful things, I just wanted to officially communicate to you that I will no longer be the host of D’Mighty Breakfast on 93. 3 KFM. I am moving on to a new chapter and I hope to see you all around still.” Maritza’s statement reads in part.

She also thanked all who have supported her while at KFM but it’s time for the next chapter in her life.

Thank you all of you, for having me, loving me, laughing with me, and being all-around a great family. I will miss you all, but for sure you will always have a place in my heart as the KFM Listeners Family.

This website has since established that Maritza quit KFM after getting a too-good to turn down offer from Kin Kariisa’s Next Media Services which owns Nxt Radio, Sanyuka TV and NBS TV among other media houses.

The ‘Spoken Word Artist’ joined KFM in 2019 as the replacement for the then co-host of the D’Mighty Breakfast Malaika Nyanzi who had also quit the station for 91.3 Capital FM.
Before that, Maritza worked at Vision Group’s XFM where she spent over six years.

Martiza is set to co-host the Morning Zoo show alongside his former workmate at XFM, Moses Rudende.
