A Ugandan man has died in Qatar after falling off a building leaving mixed reactions as to whether his death was out of a suicidal act or pushed off in a murder act.

A Ugandan man has died in Qatar after falling off a building leaving mixed reactions as to whether his death was out of a suicidal act or pushed off in a murder act.

The deceased identified as Humphrey Musinguzi is a born of Nyarushanje sub-county in Rukungiri district, Western Uganda.

Details shared in a social media post by a friend, Kwikiriza indicated that Musinguzi believed to be in his early 30s died instantly after falling off a tall building.

“Humphrey fell off from a tall building and died instantly” reads in part a brief social media post by Kwikiriza.

The deceased’s family was not immediately available for a comment on the incident as efforts were still on to repatriate his body from Qatar.

In May this year, a Ugandan woman identified as Karungi Monic, 23, from Isingiro jumped off to her death from the 9th floor of the Al Fahad building in Dubai over what was believed to be stress and depression.

Karungi’s suicidal act was preceded by another Ugandan girl (Agasa Asiina) who also killed herself by falling of from the sixth floor on a building in Bengaluru, India where she was studying.

Asiina Mbarara, Western Uganda was a final-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) student. Her death triggered violence in the campus after students went on the rampage, accusing the university management of failing to provide her timely medical help, and also to install safety barriers in the building.

It is reported that the growing frustration, depression, stressed mind, and work pressure leaves many of such Ugandans to take their own lives once their hopes to return back are suppressed by their employers.
