The girls from Uganda demonstrated resilience and teamwork, overcoming Kenya 2-1 in a fiercely contested final at the Kasarani Stadium.
Lindey Weey Atieno provided Kenya with an early lead, but Shadia Nabirye and Shaluwah Butini orchestrated a comeback securing the victory for Uganda.
