Entebbe, (UG):- Juma Musuuza, a 27-year-old TikToker popularly known on the content creator platform as Madubarah is the latest Ugandan to face the wrath of the law on charges related to computer misuse and demeaning the person of the President and the First Family.
Madubara was Monday arraigned before Entebbe Chief Magistrate Stella Maris Amabilis who read to her the charges of hate speech, spreading malicious information about the First Family and making demeaning comments about Speaker of Parliament Anita Among.
State Prosecution led by Ms Janet Kitimbo told court that Mr Musuuza, who is also a second-hand shoe hawker while at his premises in Wakiso District used his TikTok account Madubarah UG to share information which is likely to ridicule, degrade or demean President Museveni, his son and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba and Speaker Among.
