Kira Municipality, Uganda: Kireka Miracle Centre Church (KMCC) on Sunday, May 11, 2025, marked 35 years of ministry with a celebratory homecoming that emphasized reconciliation, peace, and love among its leaders and faithful.

Founded in 1990 by Pastor Paddy Musoke, KMCC has grown into a cornerstone of spiritual life in Kamuli C, Kireka, Namugongo Division, and the wider Kira Municipality in Wakiso District. Over the decades, it has nurtured generations of pastors, birthed new ministries, and impacted countless lives through community-focused evangelism.

The anniversary celebrations drew multitudes, both current and former members, many of whom have since moved to other ministries or relocated to different parts of the country. It was a moment of reflection, spiritual renewal, and celebration of the ministry’s journey.

One of the most emotional moments of the day came with the return of Pastor Alex Mukwambi, the head of Jogoo Miracle Centre in Bukerere, Mukono, who received a rousing welcome after years away from the KMCC pulpit.

“I never knew I would step on this pulpit again. I’m happy I’m back home,” said Pastor Mukwambi, drawing tears and cheers from the congregation.

Recalling his early years under Pastor Paddy’s mentorship, Mukwambi expressed gratitude and humility, asking for a future opportunity to return with his entire flock for fellowship.

In his remarks, KMCC lead Pastor, Paddy Musoke, welcomed all who returned to celebrate the milestone. “We are a ministry that believes in changing one soul at a time and making all generals,” he said, emphasizing the church’s ethos of transformation through mentorship and discipleship.

“From where we started to where we are today, it’s all a manifestation of God’s hand,” he said. Quoting from Matthew 16:26, he added, “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”

The event also featured High Court Judge Hon. Margaret Mutonyi as a keynote speaker. A devout born-again Christian, Justice Mutonyi urged ministers to preach with sincerity.

“Serve the Lord for who He is, not for what you want to gain,” she told the gathering, drawing applause for her candid reminder of spiritual accountability.

Several pastors who were raised and mentored at KMCC before founding their own ministries also graced the event, symbolizing a renewed spirit of unity and reconciliation.

The celebrations were crowned with joyful music performances, communal feasting, and heartfelt testimonies from KMCC’s early pioneers, turning the church grounds into a sanctuary of gratitude and revival.
