Kampala, Uganda: The Head of the Office of the NRM National Chairman, Kyambogo (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, has hailed Prof. Badru Kateregga as a visionary educationist and job creator, crediting him for his contribution to Uganda’s academic and entrepreneurial landscape.

Speaking at the 23rd graduation ceremony of Kampala University in Ggaba on Thursday, Namyalo revealed that Prof. Kateregga played a personal role in her early journey.

“Professor Kateregga is one of the people who first held my hand. The first money I ever had in my pocket came from him after I worked at Kampala University as a marketeer,” she said.

The ONC boss used the occasion to encourage graduates to remain focused and disciplined as they transition into the job market. “I urge you to work towards a brighter future and stay on the right path as you look for better opportunities after your graduation,” she advised.

In a gesture of support, she purchased 100 university magazines for graduands, saying the initiative was aimed at promoting the institution’s continued growth and future progress.
