KAMPALA, (UG): The Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs who doubles as Head of ONC, Hajjat Uzeiye Hadijjah Namyalo yesterday (Monday) made an unusual visit to KCCA’s Executive Directory, Ms Dorothy Kisaka ahead of preparations for the forthcoming celebrations of President Museveni’s 79th Birthday.
In a meeting held at KCCA offices in Kampala, the two discussed various points of shared interest, including but not limited to the theme of the President’s Birthday; “Developing the culture of entrepreneurship in Youth Women and the entire community.
They also discussed the preparations for the mega event which will take place on Friday, 8th September 2023 at Kololo Independence Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala.
Hajjat Namyalo was accompanied to the meeting by Mr Kizito Moses the ONC Coordinator for Kampala Central.
About Museveni’s Birthday
President Museveni born in 1944, 17 years and a few months to Uganda’s Independence will be making 79 years of age on the 15th of September, 2023, and the Bazzukulu together with the ONC Manager, therefore, felt it wise to celebrate the President’s birthday a week earlier as a launch of the activities that will take place in the whole birth week of Uganda’s transformational leader.
Inside sources at the Kyambogo-based ONC offices told this website that asides the Bazzukulu, several high-profile government officials, ministers, politicians, wealthy businessmen, and musicians among others have confirmed their attendance come September 08, with lots of food, drinks and entertainment all day.
The event according to sources has duly been cleared by the security organs including the SFC, and now with the visit to KCCA offices, it is a final stamp and assurance to the Bazzukulu that the mega party will definitely take place on the d-date.
The ONC Officer-In-Charge of Mobilization, Ms Rosette Kazaire told this reporter exclusively that the birthday fete has been fully prepared by proud Bazzukulu and supporters of President Museveni and not any taxpayer’s money is being wasted as naysayers had started to claim.
“All funds are donations from the Bazzukulu and friends of Muzee who are contributing at free will,” Ms Kazaire said in a phone conversation.
The September 8th President’s 79th Birthday celebrations at Kololo will coincide with the “Omalako Jajja, Tova KuMain 2026” grand launch, a campaign asking Museveni to return for another political term in 2026.
