According to preliminary police investigations, Lujja is the person who reportedly led the case files in the Buganda Traditional Court locally known as Kooti ya Kisekwa on a leadership dispute in the Ndiga Clan which was ruled in 2022 in favour of the complainants.

The court would later nullify the leadership of Daniel Bbosa as the head of the Ndiga Clan after evidence presented proved that he was not the rightful holder of the position. Eng Bbosa however refused to hand over the office until he was gunned down by the assailants near his residence at Lungujja in Rubaga division last week on Sunday.

Police in its ongoing investigations discovered that Tabula, a resident of Kabango village in Mpigi district masterminded the killing by outsourcing the killer guns and mobilizing assassins.

The Police’s Crime Intelligence Unit recently said Tabula is reportedly hiding in Kenya and thus a search for the fugitive has now crossed borders to have him apprehended and arraigned before the courts of law.

“We have received information suggesting that the suspect may have fled the country and could be hiding in Kenya. However, no corner of the world is too remote for the joint intelligence agencies to pursue.” Mr Enanga said last Monday, before urging the public to continue providing information, emphasizing that the bounty remains available.

Enanga said police will continue to haunt Lujja until he is arrested and urged him to hand himself into the forces before it is too late.

“We ask the suspect to turn himself in to defend himself. The longer he hides,  the more guilty he is and might commit other crimes. We are confident we are going to find him. Our CID and Crime Intelligence teams  will use all available tools to locate Tabula Bbosa.”
