Kampala, (UG):- The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Central Executive Committee members have in a special way recognized and thanked Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the Senior Presidential Advisor in charge of Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC) for being a vibrant and hardworking senior mobilizer of the ruling party and transforming lives of the Bazzukulu.

The appreciation was delivered by Hon Lydia Wanyoto Mutende, the Chairperson of the NRM Women’s League who represented the party’s CEC leadership at the surprise thanksgiving ceremony held at Kyambogo ONC offices on Monday afternoon.

Ms Wanyoto, in her remarks, thanked President Museveni for the visionary appointment of Hajjat Namyalo to take charge of ONC as the National Coordinator Bazzukulu, a task she has executed immensely and revived the party’s popularity in the hearts of many Ugandans across the country.

The NRM Women’s League boss thanked Chief Muzzukulu, for wirelessly working well with the bazzukulu, especially women and the young people which has helped revive them into constructive activities with the ONC empowerment programmes.

“It is my humble gratitude to you Hajjat, and your office, for working well with the women out there. The contribution of your office has settled the heart of several women, as most of the bazzukulu are now preoccupied with self-help projects,” Ms Wanyoto remarked, before asking Hajjat to reach out to the S.4 and S.6 vacists to be empowered as they go in for the forthcoming long holidays.

“The women have asked me, that if you can find time and maybe some resources, we organize a retreat for vacists, especially those who are sitting UNEB, the second generation bazzukulu, they need your empowerment and patriotic message from you to align well with the national values,” she emphasized.

On his part, the NRM Director for External Mobilization, Maj. (Rtd) Awich Pollar Okwir thanked Hajjat in a special way for successfully executing the CEC resolution of having H.E Yoweri Museveni back on the ballot through her TovaKuMain campaign in the runup for the 2026 general elections.

“The CEC Resolution of Mweya to have President Museveni as the flag bearer seemed to be getting out of people’s way and mind, but Hajjat stood firmly and executed, saying, Jajja don’t go away,” Maj Awich said.

He [Awich] reechoed that Hajjat has also been empowered by CEC with the sole role of ensuring President Museveni’s votes come 2026 through the ‘NRM Vote Protection” exercise, which she is also executing properly.

Mr Katto Gabriel Maguru, another CEC member (PWDs) in charge of supervision of NRM mobilization activities in the country hailed the organizers for appreciating Hajjat, whom she described as a loving boss and truly the appreciation was very much wanting.

Katto used the same opportunity to inform the coordinators that in the aftermath of the vote protectors identification exercise, they should stand firm and not be threatened by DISOs over the data collected.

“You are only answerable to Hajjat, not DISOs, or any other person. Get it from me a CEC member and super of NRM activities, if a person wants that data, ask them to seek permission from Hajjat, not anyone else,” Katto stressed.

Mesmerized by the surprise Thanksgiving party, Hajjat Namyalo said the function came as a shock to him and wondered how the coordinators and her staff organized this without her knowledge, and where the money came from when she was busy chasing after funds for the office activities. She, however, thanked them for appreciating her when she is still alive.

“I am still wondering why you used all this huge money on an event like this when am currently hustling lobbying for money to run some of our office activities. But anyway I am happy this was your own money, for your own event to thank your leader. Am glad no office money was spent on this,” She remarked.

Hajjat Namyalo also reflected on her journey at ONC which she said has been full of challenges than opportunities but commended her boss Museveni for always trashing the fake stories cooked against her with the intention of seeing her fired.

”I once told Museveni that you have more than two ears, because haters have been doing all possible to bury my name but Museveni is not a person you can easily convince especially if you have no evidence,” the chief muzzukulu praised her boss.

The ONC boss revealed that even though many people she started with at Kyambogo have since betrayed her and some have even gone the extra mile to heap all sorts of rot on her, she won’t be swayed away from her responsibilities since she was appointed to serve Museveni’s bazzukulu.

”When we launched the Tova Ku Main campaign, we knew very well that it wouldn’t be sweet for all Ugandans, especially the enemies of progress, am happy to tell you today that without any doubt, Museveni is back on the ballot and in 2026 we expect a sure win. All I request you is let’s be alert this time to protect his votes so that they are not stolen by the opposition as it was in 2021.”

In the Thanksgiving speeches of the day, the coordinators, led by Mr Chris Buyela, the Chairperson of the organizing committee and coordinator for Bugisu Sub Region revealed that they organized this event to celebrate their boss’s good works and thank her for the generosity she has always extended to them.

”Dear Hajjat we are sorry for this surprise event, we know very well these are not your things but these fellow staff you see here just thought of the proper way to thank you and decided to make something surprising like this,” Buyela remarked. “Our mama we can’t thank you enough for accepting not to be a boss just but a sister and mother to us.”

On behalf of the ONC media team, Ms Olive Nabimanya commended Hajjat for giving them a chance to serve their Jajja Museveni and vowed to continue bashing the haters by publicizing the naked truth about their boss’ good works.

“Hajjat, we can’t thank you enough for being a supportive boss who works with the young generation. Who are we to serve HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni? We promise we are here ready to deal with all the bad propaganda and malice normally orchestrated by your haters,” Nabimanya vowed.

The thanksgiving function climaxed with a cake-cutting moment, gifting and celebrations of Hajjat Namyalo, a stellar mobilizer and true patriot of the ruling NRM party.

Among the high-profile guests who attended the event included former Minister for Energy Hon Irene Muloni (Bulambuli Woman MP), Mawogola North MP, Hon Shartsi Musherure Kutesa, Hon Witonze Juma a Diplomat and member of Patriotic League of Uganda, Kampala Division Mayor Salim Uhuru, among others.
