Chief Muzzukulu Hajjat Namyalo is welcomed at Entebbe International Airport after returning from her South Africa Empowerment Tour, where she mobilized over 200,000 diaspora Ugandans with Musevenomics and empowerment funds.

Entebbe, Uganda: The Senior Presidential Advisor and Manager of Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, returned Friday from her South Africa Empowerment Tour, where she preached widely, President Yoweri Museveni’s Musevenomics wealth creation gospel and empowerment agenda to Ugandan communities abroad.

Namyalo, popularly known as the Chief Muzzukulu, touched down at Entebbe International Airport at around 3 am, receiving a warm welcome from ONC staff, coordinators, and enthusiastic Bazzukulu, who cheered her for taking the President’s message beyond borders.

The tour, which began on July 29, 2025, saw SPA Namyalo engage with the Ugandan diaspora across multiple South African cities, mobilising support for the NRM’s 2026 campaign drive and empowering over 200,000 beneficiaries with start-up capital, financial boost, and skills for thriving in the foreign ventures.

During the tour, Namyalo engaged with over 20 Ugandan diaspora groups across key locations, including Pretoria, Johannesburg, Sandton, Cape Town, Rosettenville, Mayfair, Langalakta, Hammaskala, and Mpumalanga.

She delivered empowerment packages ranging from USD 10,000 to USD 25,000 to groups involved mainly in farming, poultry production, and small enterprises aimed at creating jobs and wealth among Ugandans in South Africa.

Namyalo’s visit included keynote participation at the 3rd Convention of Ugandans in Southern Africa (COUSA) held at the Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre. She officially handed over a USD 10,000 empowerment fund to COUSA, emphasizing the need for unity, patriotism, and economic self-reliance in the diaspora.

Throughout the tour, the Chief Muzzukulu preached the principles of Musevenomics: production, enterprise, and a patriotic commitment to national development. She encouraged Ugandans abroad to engage in wealth creation initiatives while leading healthy and responsible lives.

Despite political tensions in opposition NUP strongholds such as Mayfair and Langalakta, Namyalo, fondly called Museveni’s Iron Lady, successfully held dialogue with local leaders and delivered empowerment support to foster economic ventures, breaking barriers between diaspora communities and the Ugandan government.

The tour also focused on addressing key challenges faced by Ugandans abroad, including delays in passport renewals, lack of legal documentation, unemployment, and politically motivated harassment.

Hajjat pledged continued engagement with government ministries to provide faster consular services, legal assistance, and better socio-economic support.

The ONC Boss is expected to address the media in the coming days, giving a full breakdown of the tour’s engagements, empowerment deliveries, and the impact it is projected to have on Uganda’s diaspora communities.
