FULL LIST: Police released updated contacts for over 1000 sub-county stations

The newly released list covers over 1,200 police stations and posts across multiple regions including Albertine North and South, Aswa West, Bukedi South, Busoga North,East Kyoga, Greater Bushenyi, Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP), North Kyoga, North West Nile, Rwizi and Rwenzori regions, Savannah, Sipi, South Kyoga, Ssezibwa, Wamala, among others.

Kampala, Uganda: The Uganda Police Force has released a comprehensive list of updated counter telephone contacts for sub-county police stations and other operational units across the country, in a move aimed at strengthening service delivery and enhancing public access to policing services.

The development follows the recent operationalisation of the Sub-County Policing Model, a nationwide initiative designed to bring police services closer to communities.

According to the Directorate of ICT, counter phones have now been issued to all operational sub-county police stations, as well as other police units across Uganda.

The updated contact list has been uploaded on the official police website and shared across official social media platforms to ensure easy public access. “This initiative is intended to enhance effective policing, improve responsiveness, and strengthen the relationship between the police and the public,” the statement noted.

Police have encouraged members of the public to make use of the updated contacts to report crimes promptly, seek emergency assistance and engage with local police stations for peaceful and orderly communities.

The rollout of the sub-county policing model is expected to significantly improve response times and community policing efforts across Uganda.
