Following the recorded s*x video of socialite Christine Nampeera aka ‘booty queen’ and her boyfriend Barasha romping in a toilet at one of Kampala’s popular bars, a top Ugandan doctor has spoken out on the dangers associated with getting intimate in public places used by everyone.
Dr Blair Kiiza, a distinguished medical practitioner and social media enthusiast says engaging in sexual activities in toilets poses a high risk of contracting Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).
“First off, there’s a heightened risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs) due to the unhygienic environment of a public restroom,” Dr. Kiiza warned.
He added; “Always prioritise safe and clean spaces for intimate moments.”
The less than 3-minute video featuring the couple which appeared to have been recorded by a stranger through the outer window opening of the room shows Nampeera touching the toilet seat as Barasha increasingly enjoyed the moment.
On the toilet floor, the video shows part of the clothes belonging to the two dumped on the ground, while during the moment, the two are seen changing positions, including sitting on the toilet surface.
This according to Dr Kiiza increases the transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) like chlamydia, gonorrhoea, and even HIV.
“Public restrooms may not offer the privacy and cleanliness needed to engage in safe sexual practices,” said Dr. Kiiza.
To mitigate these risks, Dr Kiiza advises couples to “consider engaging in sexual activities in a private, clean, and comfortable space.”
“If you do find yourself in a public restroom, remember to use barriers like condoms or dental dams and thoroughly clean up afterwards,” he emphasised.
