Dr Jose Chameleone pens heartfelt message to fans as he spends Christmas away from home

Kampala, (UG):- Uganda’s legendary musician, Dr. Jose Chameleone Monday penned down a heartfelt Christmas message reflecting on a twisting turn as he celebrates the day for the first time away from the stage and away from his fans.

Known for captivating audiences with his electrifying stage presence and timeless hits, the music doctor, currently grappling with health challenges has for the past two weeks spent them at Nakasero Hospital and flew out for further treatment abroad, temporarily pausing his career.

“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the promoters who have consistently believed in me and to the fans who have always shown up to support me. Unfortunately, I’ll be taking a temporary break from performing until I’ve made a full recovery,” Chameleone wrote in a heartfelt message shared with his fans on social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

Chameleone expressed gratitude to his family, friends and fans who have continually supported him and assured that despite his current break from performing, he remains committed to a full recovery, vowing to return stronger and better.

The Basiima Ogenze hitmaker also acknowledged the exemplary care he received at Nakasero Hospital and extended a special note of appreciation to Juliet Zawedde, a steadfast friend who he said sacrificed her holiday to accompany him to the United States for further treatment.

“A special thank you to my dear friend Juliet Zawedde, who selflessly sacrificed her holiday to accompany me to the United States for further treatment,” Chamili wrote. “To everyone who has stood by me, I thank you. I will return stronger and better, God willing,” he affirmed.
